Class 1
Class 1 - for professional applications Class 1 BGAN terminals are best suited for professional applications, used under extremely dusty, rainy, cold or hot conditions. This is truly ruggedized equipment for the specialists. Class 1 equipment features full BGAN bandwidth of 492 kbps uplink / 492 kbps downlink and streaming possibilities of up to 256 kbps guaranteed bandwidth.
Class 2
Class 2 - the multi-user terminal Class 2 BGAN terminals are best suited for professional and semi-professional users. The equipment is light and user-friendly, yet rugged and capable of out-door use under most conditions. Bandwidth is 464 kbps uplink / 448 kbps downlink and streaming possibilities up to 128 kbps guaranteed bandwidth. Class 2 equipment has more inter-connection features than class 3 and can be shared by several multiple users.
Class 3
Class 3 - the single-user terminal Class 3 BGAN terminals are best suited for light users. The products have less features and a smaller number of accessories available. Focus is on cost-efficiency and the equipment is not water-proof. Bandwidth is 384 kbps uplink / 240 kbps downlink and streaming possibilities up to 64 kbps guaranteed bandwidth. Class 3 equipment is only available for single users.
